WHITE ON WHITE THURSDAY, April 23, 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM EDT FRIDAY, April 24, 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM EDT (East Coast United States) LEVEL ALL COURSE DESCRIPTION White florals can be such a light and delicate addition to paintings, borders, and illustrations, but can be challenging to paint on white paper! We will look at several techniques to make these bright beauties come alive and stand out, even on a light background. Included will be instruction on painting dogwood blossoms, daisies, and smaller blooms, using outline and wet-on-wet techniques. Adding the contrast of soft green in the foliage will complete these designs. They will be the perfect touch to add to your projects for Mother’s Day, summer graduation parties and weddings. DATE AND TIME The class will be two 2-hour sessions on Thursday, April 23 and Friday, April 24 via Zoom. SUPPLIES Several sheets of cold press Arches Watercolor Paper, any weight is good for practice, or a pad such as Canson MixMedia Triangle (Wedge) brush, medium size 10 Round Watercolor Brush, medium size 6 Tube watercolors - suggested colors for this class include Undersea Green or Zoisite Green, Yellow Ochre, Paynes’ Grey, Burnt Umber, Indigo, Buff Titanium small plastic or ceramic palette Micron Pigma Fine Liner containers for water pencil eraser SUPPLIES CAN BE FOUND AT JOHNNEALBOOKS.COM OR PAPERINKARTS.COM VIDEO A Video of the class will be available for all enrolled students available for 8 weeks.
