SPRING WREATHS THURSDAY, MARCH 20, 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM EDT FRIDAY, MARCH 21, 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM EDT (East Coast United States) LEVEL ALL COURSE DESCRIPTION Nothing gets us out of the winter blahs than painting with bright and cheerful spring colors! And what better way to use them than with lovely floral designs fashioned into welcoming spring wreaths! In this class, we will use small round and wedge brushes to paint small spring flowers and leaves. After painting an assortment of colors and shapes, we will use them in designs for wreaths, or any border or single illustration you can think of. There will be lots of inspiration! We will also be using a pointed pen to incorporate some line drawing and outlining, to add to our choices for design. SUPPLIES Wedge (triangle) brush, small or medium, size 6 or 8 (Royal Langnickel or similar) 2 small round pointed brush, size 0 and 3 favorite oblique or straight holder your favorite pointed pen nibs, suggested are Hunt 22, Hunt 56, Hunt 101, Nikko G, Zebra, containers for water a few sheets of watercolor paper, I recommend Arches Cold Press, but spiral bound pads will do as well if they are multi-media or watercolor your favorite watercolors, think romantic pastels and calming greens (I will be demonstrating using Prussian blue, cad yellow, zoisite green, cobalt violet, sap green, quin gold, quin rose, madder lake deep This class will be recorded for you to enjoy through the spring season!
