COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Triangle (or Wedge) Brush has become my favorite tool for graceful florals. In this class, we will learn how to use it to achieve graceful leaf and petal shapes. Using the unique qualities of the brush, and through a series of exercises, the will explore the feel and technique used to create these shapes. We will talk about choice of colors, and how to work with watercolor, putting it all together to create beautiful magnolias and tulips.

several small sheets of cold press Arches Watercolor Paper, any weight is good for practice
Triangle (Wedge) brush, size medium
tube watercolors - suggested colors for florals would be Quinn Rose, Alizarin Crimson, Rose Madder Genuine, Sap Green, New Gamboge, Cad Yellow, Raw Umber, Payne’s Gray or your favorite spring garden colors
