THURSDAY, June 22, 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM EDT FRIDAY, June 23 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM EDT (East Coast United States) LEVEL ALL COURSE DESCRIPTION The Triangle (or Wedge) Brush has become my favorite tool for graceful florals because they complement pointed pen work so well. In this class, we will learn how to use it to achieve graceful leaf shapes, and petal shapes. Through a series of exercises, the will explore the feel and technique used to create these shapes, and then put them together to paint beautiful summer geraniums and daisies. DATE AND TIME The class will be two 2-hour sessions on Thursday, June 22 and Friday, June 23via Zoom. Following the class, 30 minutes will be available for review and questions. You must load Zoom on your computer, please email me if you need help setting this up. SUPPLIES Several sheets of cold press Arches Watercolor Paper, any weight is good for practice, or a pad such as Canson MixMedia Triangle (Wedge) brush, (Ruby Satin -John Neal Books, or Royal Golden Taklon Triangle artistpaintbrush.com Tube watercolors - suggested colors for this class include Quinn Rose, Alizarin Crimson, Rose Madder, Cad Red Deep, Sap Green, New Gamboge, Cad Yellow, Cerulean, Burnt Sienna, Prussian Blue, Raw Umber, Payne’s Gray (not all are necessary, a good beginning is one of the reds, a yellow and a blue small plastic or ceramic palette containers for water pencil eraser SUPPLIES CAN BE FOUND AT JOHNNEALBOOKS.COM OR PAPERINKARTS.COM VIDEO A Video of the class will be available for all enrolled students available for 4 weeks.
