Service Description
Brush Lettering Variations Thursday, April. 3 and Friday, April. 4 Some knowledge of the brush marker or pointed brush will be helpful. This is a follow up to the “Introductions” Brush Lettering class. Some knowledge of the tool will be helpful, and we will do a small intro for those who might like to refresh their knowledge. In this class, we will start with some basics, learning the technique and movement needed to form basic strokes. We will then explore more spontaneous movements and letter forms, giving many possibilities for creative lettering, including letter flourish variations, script styles and other ‘personalities.’ Supplies: Sakura Koi Coloring Brush Pen or Zebra Mild Liner Brush Pentel Touch Sign Pen (for smaller writing) Watercolor Brush Round, size 2-5, if you would like to try writing with a 'hair' brush, (this is optional). My favorite brand is Princeton, AquaElite, but any watercolor brush with a very good point will do. Several tubes of Gouache if using a watercolor round brush Carson Pro Marker Layout Pad or similar This class will be recorded for viewing for 2 months.
